Split PDFs,
without the upload.
Pull out the pages you need or break a PDF into separate files — right in your browser. Click, or type a range.
How it works
- 1
Drop your PDF
Add a PDF file. Every page is rendered locally with pdf.js as a clickable thumbnail — no upload.
- 2
Pick your pages
Click the pages you want, or type a range like 1-3, 5, 8-10. Leave it empty to use every page.
- 3
Extract or split
Get one PDF of the selected pages, or split each page into its own file (zipped) — assembled with pdf-lib in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?+
No. The file is read and split entirely in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.
What's the difference between Extract and Split?+
Extract combines the pages you selected into a single new PDF. Split makes one separate PDF per selected page and hands them back as a .zip (a single page downloads as one PDF).
How do I select pages?+
Click the page thumbnails to toggle them, or type a range like 1-3, 5, 8-10 in the Pages box. If you select nothing, all pages are used.
Is there a limit on PDF size or page count?+
No hard limit beyond your device's available memory. Everything runs locally.
Is it free?+
Yes — free, no signup, no watermarks.
