Is my image uploaded anywhere?+
No. The image is loaded into a canvas and cropped entirely in your browser. It never leaves your device.
Does cropping reduce quality?+
Cropping itself is lossless — it just keeps the pixels inside your selection. If you export as JPG or WEBP, the quality slider controls re-compression; choose PNG for a lossless result.
Can I crop to a specific aspect ratio?+
Yes. Pick 1:1, 4:3, 3:2 or 16:9 and the crop box locks to that ratio as you drag, or leave it on Free for any shape.
What do rotate and flip do to the file?+
Rotation (90° steps) and horizontal/vertical flips are baked into the exported image, so the result is permanently oriented the way you see it in the preview.
