Generate barcodes,
without the upload.
Create CODE128, EAN, UPC, CODE39 and more in your browser. Customize the size and colors, then download a crisp PNG or scalable SVG.
How it works
- 1
Pick a symbology
Choose CODE128, EAN-13, UPC-A, CODE39, ITF, Codabar, MSI or Pharmacode — each shows what input it expects.
- 2
Enter your value
Type the text or number to encode. The barcode regenerates live and tells you if the value isn't valid for that format.
- 3
Download or print
Tune the bar width, height and colors, then export a high-resolution PNG, a scalable SVG, or print it directly.
Frequently asked questions
Is my data uploaded anywhere?+
No. The barcode is generated entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing you type is ever sent to a server.
Which barcode types are supported?+
Linear (1D) symbologies: CODE128, CODE39, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, ITF (Interleaved 2 of 5), Codabar, MSI Plessey and Pharmacode. For QR codes and other 2D codes, use our QR code generator.
Why does it say my value is invalid?+
Each symbology has rules — for example EAN-13 needs exactly 12 or 13 digits, and UPC-A needs 11 or 12. The hint under the symbology selector tells you what each format accepts. CODE128 is the most flexible and accepts any text.
Should I use PNG or SVG?+
SVG is vector and stays razor-sharp at any size, ideal for print and design tools. PNG is a fixed-resolution image that's easy to drop into documents and apps. Both export the exact barcode you see.
Is it free?+
Yes — free, no signup, no watermarks.
